At Test - Create quizzes, we are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. The app allows users to create, practice, organize, generate, back up, publish, share, and export quizzes. Some features work locally on your device, while others may require an account, an internet connection, cloud services, ads, AI-assisted generation, Google Play purchases, or optional premium features.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information when you use the app.

Some features described in this policy may be optional, limited, region-dependent, plan-dependent, temporarily unavailable, or introduced gradually. If a feature is not available to you, the related data processing may not apply.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the Android app “Test - Create quizzes”, including account features, local features, cloud features, sync and backup, community features, AI-assisted generation, support interactions, premium features, ads, and related privacy or account deletion pages operated by Simple Test App.

It does not apply to third-party websites, stores, payment systems, ad networks, AI providers, or services controlled by others, even if linked from the app.

2. Information we collect

Account data: email address, Firebase user identifier, username, display name, optional profile photo if provided, email verification status, account status, profile completion status, subscription or premium access status, and technical timestamps related to account activity.

If an account requires email verification and the email is not verified within 72 hours, the account may be automatically deleted to protect service security, reduce abuse, and keep account data current.

Local data: quizzes, questions, answers, results, progress, settings, imported files, exported files, and PDF files may be stored locally on your device. We do not automatically receive content that remains only on your device unless you use a feature that uploads, backs up, syncs, publishes, shares, reports, or sends that content to our services.

Cloud data: if you sign in or use online features, we may process supported data such as cloud quizzes, questions, answers, results, progress, statistics, collections, tags, languages, community content, sharing data, and other account-linked app data.

User-created content: quiz titles, descriptions, questions, answer options, correct answers, explanations, corrections, hints, references when available, tags, languages, collections, results, progress, and other information you add, generate, upload, save, publish, share, report, or sync through the app.

AI-assisted generation data: when you use quick generation or similar features, we may process the topic, context, selected language, question count, question type, optional fields selected by you, request metadata, and generated output. This information may be sent to our servers and to AI service providers to generate quiz content.

Do not submit sensitive, confidential, financial, health, biometric, government identification, password, children’s data, private information about others, or content you do not have permission to use.

Usage, limits, and entitlement data: we may process information about feature usage, daily or periodic limits, quick generation usage, ad-supported access, rewarded ad access, premium access, plan status, subscription status, expiration dates, renewals, account entitlements, archived content, and restoration eligibility.

Ads and measurement data: we may show banner ads, interstitial ads, medium rectangle ads, and rewarded ads when available. Ad providers may process advertising identifiers, device information, approximate location derived from IP address, consent choices, ad impressions, clicks, interactions, diagnostics, and aggregated or pseudonymous metrics.

Purchase and premium data: if you purchase or use premium features, we may process purchase verification data, Google Play purchase tokens, subscription status, plan or benefit status, renewal or expiration information, and related support records. Payments are processed by Google Play; we do not store your full payment card details.

In some cases, access to premium or limited features may be granted manually for promotions, compensation, education, testing, support, or administrative reasons. We may keep records necessary to manage this access and prevent abuse.

Technical, diagnostic, and security data: app version, device type, operating system version, technical identifiers, request identifiers, timestamps, IP addresses, crash reports, performance data, backend response status, App Check status, anti-abuse signals, fraud-prevention signals, and logs needed to operate, debug, secure, and improve the app.

We try to avoid storing unnecessary user content in logs, but some user-provided content or identifiers may appear in technical records when necessary to process a request, investigate an issue, prevent abuse, provide support, or comply with legal obligations.

3. Purposes of processing

We use information to:

• provide account, local, cloud, sync, backup, sharing, community, and export features;
• create, save, organize, practice, publish, and display quizzes according to your settings;
• provide quick generation and other AI-assisted features when you request them;
• apply free, ad-supported, rewarded, premium, daily, periodic, storage, cloud, and generation limits;
• verify purchases, subscriptions, premium access, promotional access, and manual entitlements;
• show ads, including rewarded ads when available, and measure ad performance;
• provide support, process reports, moderate public content, and enforce our terms;
• prevent fraud, abuse, spam, unauthorized access, and attempts to bypass limits or security;
• debug, analyze performance, improve reliability, and maintain the service;
• send operational communications related to incidents, account status, policy updates, plan changes, or service availability.

4. Legal bases

• Contract performance: providing services you request, such as account, cloud, sync, community, export, AI-assisted generation under your action, subscriptions, and premium features.
• Legitimate interests: security, fraud prevention, abuse prevention, moderation, limit enforcement, service improvement, and quality maintenance.
• Consent: ad personalization where applicable, optional profile photo, non-essential preferences, or non-operational communications where applicable.
• Legal obligation: compliance with applicable law, valid legal requests, and records required for billing, security, or dispute resolution.

5. Service providers and recipients

We may use service providers to operate the app, including:

• Google Firebase and Google Cloud services: authentication, database, storage, Cloud Functions, App Check, diagnostics, performance, and infrastructure.
• Google Play Billing: purchase, subscription, and entitlement verification.
• Google Mobile Ads / AdMob: advertising, rewarded ads, measurement, and consent-related ad operations.
• AI service providers, such as OpenAI or other providers when enabled: processing prompts, context, selected options, and generated output for quiz generation.
• support or communication tools when you contact us;
• other infrastructure, security, analytics, or moderation tools needed to operate and protect the service.

We do not sell personal data.

6. Advertising, analytics, and user control

Some free or limited features may be supported by ads. Rewarded ads may provide access to certain limited actions or additional attempts when available. Watching a rewarded ad does not guarantee unrestricted access, and availability may depend on ad inventory, region, account status, app version, remote configuration, abuse-prevention limits, and service availability.

You may control ad personalization through Android settings, Google settings, or consent controls that are available in the app or in your region.

7. AI-assisted features

AI-assisted features are intended to help create an initial quiz draft or related quiz content. They are not structured learning programs, professional advice, or a guarantee of accuracy. Generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, or unsuitable for your purpose. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, saving, publishing, or sharing generated content.

We may apply filters, limits, abuse-prevention checks, or moderation controls to AI-assisted requests and generated content. If generated content is published or shared publicly, it may be subject to community rules, reporting, and moderation.

8. Community, public content, and reports

If you publish or share a quiz publicly, other users may be able to view, answer, save, share, download, or interact with that content depending on the available features. Public content may appear in community areas, search results, tags, language filters, categories, or other discovery features.

Users may be able to report public quizzes, generated content, or other content they believe is incorrect, offensive, harmful, illegal, infringing, or against our rules. We may review reports, remove, restrict, unpublish, or anonymize content, limit access to features, or suspend accounts when necessary to protect users, the service, or comply with legal obligations.

9. User content, limits, and archiving

Ownership: you keep ownership of your quizzes and content. By publishing or sharing them, you grant us a non-exclusive license to host, store, process, display, and distribute them according to your visibility settings and only as needed to operate the app.

Plan limits and archiving: if you exceed applicable limits, if premium access expires, if a subscription is cancelled or cannot be verified, or if service rules require it, some cloud content may be archived, restricted, hidden from sharing, or unavailable for editing until limits are restored or the content is brought within allowed limits.

Limits may vary depending on account status, plan, premium access, app version, service availability, remote configuration, abuse-prevention rules, or technical requirements.

Unarchiving or restoration may occur automatically or manually when limits are restored, premium access is renewed, or the account becomes eligible again. Restoration order may be based on objective criteria such as newest content first.

10. Export, import, and sharing

When you export a quiz to PDF, share content outside the app, or import content into the app, you are responsible for the information included in that content and for having the right to use, import, publish, or share it. Exported files, PDFs, files shared outside the app, and copies saved by other users are not controlled by us and may not be deleted automatically when you delete your account or app data.

11. Retention

We keep account and cloud data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Private cloud quizzes and account-linked data are deleted or anonymized when you delete your account, unless limited retention is needed for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, billing records, dispute resolution, backups, or technical reasons.

Public or community content may be deleted, unpublished, or anonymized after account deletion. However, copies already downloaded, exported, shared, saved, or copied by other users may not be removable by us.

Technical logs, diagnostic data, security records, and abuse-prevention records are generally retained for a limited period, typically up to 12 months, unless a longer period is required for security, legal, billing, support, or abuse-prevention reasons.

Archived or over-limit cloud content may be retained for up to 12 months. After that, it may be permanently deleted to control infrastructure costs and maintain service quality.

Deleting your app account does not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription. To avoid future charges, you must cancel the subscription through Google Play.

Local data stored only on your device, exported PDFs, files shared outside the app, and copies saved by other users are not automatically deleted when you delete your app account.

Public or community content may be deleted, unpublished, or anonymized depending on the case. We may retain limited information when necessary for security, fraud prevention, support, billing, legal compliance, backups, or technical reasons.

13. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• access your personal data;
• correct inaccurate or outdated information;
• request deletion of your account and data;
• request data portability in a structured format where applicable;
• object to or request restriction of processing in certain cases;
• withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis, such as ad personalization.

You can exercise these rights in the app, by emailing support@simpletestapp.com, or by using the deletion pages listed in this policy.

14. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age required to consent to data processing in your jurisdiction, you may use the app only with consent from a parent or legal guardian. If we learn that we collected personal data from a child without the required consent, we will delete it as soon as reasonably possible.

15. Changes and previous versions

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will indicate the effective date and, if changes are material, we may notify you in-app.
